LifeGlue Technologies is pleased to welcome Erika Naakka, PhD, who joined the company as a Product Specialist on 1 September 2026. In her role, Erika will focus particularly on sales, customer engagement and helping researchers and industry partners identify suitable Glue4Life solutions for their applications.
Erika brings a combination of scientific expertise, biomaterials commercialization and communication experience to the growing LifeGlue team. She holds a PhD from the University of Helsinki, where her research focused on next-generation 3D cell culture models and animal-free approaches in cancer research.
Prior to joining LifeGlue Technologies, Erika worked on the commercialization of human-derived biomaterials and was involved in bringing a novel cell culture material toward the market. This experience gives her a strong understanding of both the scientific requirements behind advanced biomaterials and the practical challenges involved in translating research innovations into commercial products.
Alongside her scientific and commercial background, Erika has more than ten years of experience in content creation, social media and digital communication. This multidisciplinary expertise will support LifeGlue Technologies as the company expands its international customer relationships and communicates the potential of animal-free biomaterials for biofabrication and tissue engineering.
With Erika joining the team, LifeGlue Technologies continues to strengthen its capabilities in customer applications, commercialization and scientific communication as Glue4Life expands into new research and development applications.
