LifeGlue Technologies has won the pitch competition at the internationally recognized sTARTUp Day event. Held for the tenth time in Tartu, Estonia, the event brought together hundreds of growth companies, investors, and international stakeholders from across Europe. The pitch competition sought companies with a strong technological foundation and clear potential for international growth and impact.
In addition to international visibility, the pitch competition win delivered concrete results on the funding front. During the competition and the event, the company established several new investor connections, and the prizes included investments from a syndicate of Estonian business angels as well as the venture capital fund BSV. The win served as a strong validation of LifeGlue Technologies' technology and commercial potential.
"This win is a strong indication that high-level research conducted in Finland—and the deep tech companies built on it—are gaining recognition on international stages as well. We are proud of our Tampere roots and of the opportunity to bring Finnish biotechnology to the global market," says Laura Kuittinen, CEO and Co-Founder of LifeGlue Technologies.
The pitch competition jury paid particular attention to the clinical applicability, scalability, and real medical relevance of LifeGlue Technologies' solution.
